I'm so glad you can join me here in learning about the power of this skill! Through this course, you will improve your awareness around food and your habits and thought patterns, which will give you the insight and tools to make meal time work for you and your body, not against them. Empowered eating is something to be learned and practiced, and a skill that will benefit you for the rest of your life.
We have a lot to compete with on a daily basis that will make this a challenge, so while we shouldn't expect every meal time to be a calm, collected, thoughtful one, this is still an incredibly powerful habit that can change the entire way you look at eating.
Learning how to slow down and be more purposeful during your meals is an essential skill of nutrition. It involves observation, taking up some space in new ways you may not be used to, and reframing the whole mindset around the way you eat.

Applying this skill over time will bring you a deep satisfaction with your meals and your body, as you learn to gauge your hunger and fullness, and differentiate from other signals like high and low emotions, fatigue and overwhelm that can get muddled in the message center of the brain and make us feel the need to eat. Learning how to separate those and deal with them appropriately will create space to fuel your body well and find peace with your eating habits and with food.

I have made this course interactive and it includes reflection questions for your personal growth. All answers are considered "correct", so don't worry about "checking" your answers. They are just there as an opportunity to observe your own behaviors.
Also, many of the lessons include reflective questions to help you get deeper with the material as you apply it to your life. The questions are just for you, so grab a journal or open a word doc, and record what comes up for you as you move through the course.
